Benefits of taking lessons with Sound Music Instruction

• Convenience.  Forget about carting the kids from activity to activity (with your gas tank and wallet emptying in the process). We bring the lessons to you, saving our families and students both time and money in this busy and hectic world. We know Michigan weather isn’t always the greatest either, and so the convenience of in-home lessons, especially in the winter, is one of the best choices around. Lessons are given when you want them, and at a location of your choice: at home, work, school or church. We offer lessons during the week or on weekends, both day and evening.

• Quality.  Our goal is for you to have as much fun as possible while achieving your personal goals as a music student. Students are custom-placed with instructors tailored to help them get the most out of their lessons, earning a deeper understanding and appreciation for music. And if for some reason you feel you could be learning more or are dissatisfied with the instructor we chose, we will gladly assign another to you or your child.

• Diversity.  We believe that it’s never too early or late to learn an instrument. Because of this, our teachers are experienced in working with all levels of student, from beginners who bought their first instrument yesterday, to advanced virtuosos looking to sharpen their skills. We can teach pre-school age children and up, including adults of all ages.

• Customization.  No two students will ever have the exact same interests, skills and learning capability. We tailor each plan to the student, offering a quality of education that’s both successful and fun.

• Pricing.  Our rates for private and group 30, 45, 60 and even 90-minute classes are some of the best in the area, and we also offer discounts for multiple students in the same house. We don’t make you sign a lengthy contract with high cancellation fees either.

• Performance Opportunities.  We also participate in annual regional and national competitions for all skill levels, instruments, and styles. It’s a way for the students to meet and see what musicians their own age are doing, and learn to perform in front of an audience.  It is designed to be low presser and everyone comes away feeling accomplished. 

• Stay in touch.  Our quarterly newsletter Sound Bytes, is sent to you either via e-mail or though the mail. Each issue includes coupons, special offers, event news, lessons and articles for students and parents.
